Paul Clayson

Chief Executive Officer

Paul joined AgilePQ in February 2017, bringing extensive experience in launching and growing early stage companies. Paul has launched four disruptive technology companies, and served as CEO to five early stage companies in nanotechnology, automotive, graphene, carbon nanotube, PCB, microprocessor and other advanced technologies. He has deep experience with company governance and boards, and a broad global network of venture and PE firms. Paul currently serves in advisory and mentor roles with the Stanford University TomKat Center for Sustainable Energy, the North Carolina Joint School of Nano-Science and the Nano-Engineering (JSNN), Board of Advisers.

Keith Barnes

VP Global Business Development

Keith Barnes is VP for Global Business Development. His responsibilities include identifying opportunities and preparing and executing an approach uniquely designed to meet the needs of each customer. Barnes has worked for the past 30 years for Northrop Grumman Corporation supporting the Business Management needs of U. S. Government programs. He holds active Top Secret Clearances with three U. S. agencies. He’s received multiple President’s Leadership Awards form NGC for his efforts in supporting Program Management, Strategic Planning and Business Strategy associated with ground based, fixed wing, high speed computing and restricted space programs.

Greg Ward

VP Product Strategy

Greg is a technology, data communications industry expert with 28 years experience managing development and market introduction of new products. At AgilePQ, Greg oversees product strategy and technical direction for the company, managing product development, product management, product strategy, and field engineering. While with Hewlett-Packard/Agilent/Keysight, Greg provided multiple successful new product growth strategies for several divisions. Greg also managed the development and market introduction for several successful new products in Keysight’s Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool-set.

Bruce Conway

Chief Science Officer

Bruce serves as Chief Science Officer at AgilePQ. He is the inventor of optimized code table technology and brings design and development of advanced technologies to AgilePQ. Bruce served as an officer in the United States Air Force for over twenty years, in roles covering radio-navigation systems R&D, systems engineering for early GPS receivers in avionics flight test engineering, command and control system design, SDI, satellite and electronic warfare, as well as countermeasures and leadership of large research teams performing research and systems development for airborne laser projects.

Sergio Fernandez

VP Development

Sergio joined AgilePQ in February 2016 and oversees engineering development. Sergio has over 25 years developing advanced technology and managing system architects and developers. Prior to AgilePQ, Sergio worked for Trintex, a partnership of CBS, Sears and IBM, that became Prodigy and was the first company to have first 1M users on line. Sergio also founded ASCI a successful outsourcing company in Mexico featured in Fortune Europe. He has served as a professor at CINVESTAV and Monterrey Institute of Technology and has published many scientific papers and patents.

Virginia Estes

General Counsel

Ginny serves as General Counsel at AgilePQ. Previously, she was Assistant General Counsel at Cricket Communications (acquired by AT&T), and general counsel to startup companies in the semiconductor industry. Ginny began her legal career at Latham & Watkins and has over 25 years of legal experience, advising companies on corporate and intellectual property matters, litigation, licensing, and commercial, M&A, and finance transactions, including venture and secured and unsecured convertible debt financings. Prior to her legal career, she worked in R&D in the computer and telecommunications industries, including five years at Bell Laboratories.

Kirsten H. Ward

VP GTM Strategy

Kirsten is an industry revenue acceleration and global routes to market expert. At AgilePQ, Kirsten oversees the business strategy, marketing, revenue growth, and strategic partnership development. With over 25 years experience working with technology startups and leaders she has helped companies build and execute sales, marketing and ecosystem strategies for growth and successful exit via IPO and acquisition. Prior to AgilePQ, Kirsten worked as VP of Business Development at Nexthink, Strategic Relations at Microsoft, and Head of Global Channel and Alliances at Altiris.
